Do you know my Jesus?

Have you met my Jesus?
If not let me introduce you to Him.
Think of a person who you are closest to. Maybe a parent, child, childhood friend. Now think of their limitations. They  die, disappoint you, leave you, lie to you, they are not perfect.
I have a friend that sticks closer than a brother. He will never leave you or forsake you. he loves you just where you are. It doesn't matter about your past, the sins you have committed, it doesn't matter what kind of a person you are. He wants to save you, right where you are. He took on all the stuff you have done...past, present and future and nailed it to a cross. He gave His life for you. He want to give you eternal life with Him in heaven. He wants to give you no fear of dying because when you shut your eyes here in death, you will automatically open them with Him in heaven. He will never lie to you, disappoint you, leave you. He will always be a prayer away. He is there holding your hand no matter what life brings you. He is always ready to wrap His arms around you and say welcome home when you have strayed and did stuff you knew you weren't supposed to be doing. He picks you up, dusts you off and tells you "O.K. lets get back on the path and try this again", no matter how many times you stray. He NEVER gives up on you. He will change your life. No more bleak down thoughts. He will put a song in your heart. Each day you wake up, He has given you mercy for the day. You can never run out as He gives it new to you each and every day.

Do you want to invite Jesus into your heart?
I am not going to say "pray this prayer".
You need to speak to Him from your heart. Ask Him to come into your heart. Let Him know that you are a sinner in need of a savior. Tell Him you believe in Him and know He died and arose from the grave 3 days later. There is no right or wrong way to ask Jesus into your heart. He already knows your heart, but you see He gave us freewill. If He made everyone worship Him we would be no better than robots. He wants you to want Him. He will never ever force you to accept Him. But I can tell you this much for certain, the longer you put it off the more blessings you are missing out on.

I hope you now know a little about my friend. But oh He is much more than a friend. He is a Savior waiting with open arms to save you.

Don't put it off. We are never promised a tomorrow.
Talk to Him today.
In Christ,
Joy
